About the Artist

Colene received a degree in graphic design/illustration in 1986. Her experience includes freelance graphic design, college-level instruction, and over 20 years as senior graphic designer. Colene is a member of Ground Floor Artists, Sun City West Clay Club, Sun West Art Club, and WHAM. She is currently teaching mixed media and clay classes, and is active in clay sculpture, drawing, collage, mixed media, and watercolor.

Classes will provide instruction, demonstrations, and completed projects. Emphases will on medium, composition, design, form, and color. Students will be individually and group guided as they create their own unique piece of art.

Colene believes each person has their own style of art, whether known, or just waiting to be discovered!
