About the Artist
As an active artist all her life, Julie Kay enjoys working with a myriad of mediums. She has worked in the commercial industry with interior designers as a fabricator of home & store décor as well as with her own freelance business.
Julie’s art includes: fiber arts, acrylic painting, mixed media, silk floral design, wool felting, paper arts, 2 dimensional wall art, drawing/sketching, etc. She often combines multiple art forms together.
Julie loves to teach & watch her students “blossom” as they learn within the mediums of their interests. She has an extensive background in teaching art classes of all kinds, and is delighted to be working with the Ground Floor Artists studio in Surprise, Arizona.
