Leah Thompson

About the Artist

My name is Leah and I am an abstract artist from the Phoenix, Arizona area. At the Art Institute of Portland, I studied design but have been an artist – and unceasing dreamer – my whole life. My work primarily uses a combination of fluid mediums such as acrylic inks, alcohol inks, and pouring acrylics combined with oil pastels and spray paints. My work combines fluidity with contrasting shapes and elements and strives to provide an otherworldly experience to the viewer. My ultimate goal is to spark the viewer’s creativity and transport them back to parts of their own imagination that they had long since forgotten through color and patterns.
