About the Artist

Lesley has been creating art since she was six years old in every form, including 3-dimensional cake art and balloon design art. Taking many classes has exposed her to a variety of medias and she uses almost all of them, but alcohol ink has become her primary focus over the last 5 years. The intense and flowing inks can speak on their own or can be somewhat controlled to create lovely works of art. She has shared her love of this medium with over 300 students, and even placed in an international competition. With Covid isolation, she cut up several pieces of ink paintings to create colorful and unique collages and mixed media. They were so popular she worked on a series of themed 'crazy heads' and has continued to have requests for personalized creations. Teaching is still her favorite part so look out for more classes!
