About the Artist

Nancy Christy-Moore is an internationally recognized award-winning painter who brings her enjoyment of color, energy and movement to her abstract contemporary paintings. Educated at Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri, the American Academy of Art in Chicago, and Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, she has taught and exhibited her work for forty years. Nancy's studio is in Surprise, Arizona. She teaches workshops and conducts demonstrations statewide using her “inner painting” (Intuitive painting) techniques. Nancy has had over 20 solo exhibits, with two in Japan. She accepts creative commissions.

Included in many private and corporate collections, her paintings have been exhibited in museums, public spaces and as limited edition prints for the Hyatt Regency Hotel chain. She was the cover artist for Horses in Art magazine’s 2011 Summer issue, Official Artist for the Menlo Charity Horse Show in 2012, and a signature Master member of International Equine Artists. In 2014 she was recognized by the West Valley Museum of Art as an outstanding woman artist in Arizona. In 2017 Nancy was filmed by Colour In Your Life TV Series: Fine Art Tips With Nancy Christy-Moore.
