About the Artist

I have lived in Wickenburg, Arizona since 2001 with my dear husband Dave. We moved here from Seattle, WA where we lived & worked for over 35 years, raised our family, and retired. I am an honorary Lifetime Member of the Wickenburg Art Club, where I have been actively involved since joining in 2002. I am a juried artist in Watercolor, Oil, Pastel, Pen & Ink, and drawing mediums with WAC as well as the Arizona Artist’s Alliance.  I am also a new member of the Arizona Watercolor Association.

Art has opened my eyes to behold the world with its beauty in the skies, the mountains, the waters, the deserts, the people, and the amazingly gorgeous colors everywhere.  I treasure the bond of friendships made with many talented fellow artists along my journey in life and also when I am able to create artworks that bring joy to the viewer as well as pleasure to myself in the creative process.

My passion is painting, and my most favorite medium is watercolor. I paint in studio – as well as Plein Air (outdoors).   I work on watercolor paper, blocks, canvas, aquaboards, and journals – depending on the overall outcome I am trying to achieve. I mostly love to see the “magic” happen as the colors blend together when the water glides the paint across the surface of my paper and into your hearts.
