About the Artist

I have let life overshadow my love of art and being retired now I am pursuing what I love: Art.
I placed in a couple of shows after college and sold a sculpture in my early days. In my pursuit of art now, I have placed and been juried into a couple of shows. I primarily paint in acrylic. One of my subject matters is what I call ‘architecture-influenced,’ in that I focus on specific shapes and patterns and how color affects them. Another pursuit is surrealistic portraits emphasizing color. My third focus of subject is fantasy scapes. I use photography to work from. I imagine things I want to paint and then take pictures of items that may fit that imagination.
