Human/ Animal Connection

Time: 9:00am to 3:00pm 

Combining the human and the animal images, a head will be constructed using basic hand building techniques with information on facial features.  We will explore ways of developing personal symbols to allow the piece to have meaning and metaphor. After construction, the surfaces will be treated with dry clays, engobes and underglazes. Demos include construction techniques and a painterly approach to the wet surface.

After you book the workshop you will be sent an email with the workshop schedule, list of materials needed,  information on area resturaunts, hotels and places of interest. We will be supplying underglazes and engobes from Amaco. You can bring your own clay or we will have clay available for purchase.

Space is limited to 12 people, so book early.

We can offer a refund up to 30 days out of your scheduled workshop training minus the 160 non-refundable portion
Two weeks out from the scheduled date we can refund 50% of the amount after the 160 non-refundable portions. 
No refund within two weeks of the workshop date

Workshop Cancellation
If there are fewer than eight people registered for the workshop two weeks out, the workshop will be cancelled and you will be issued a full refund for your registration. For this reason, if you plan on coming, register early!
